Struggling in your life!

Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it… She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time… It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed… Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire…

Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot and ground coffee beans in the third pot… He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter… The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing… After twenty minutes he turned off the burners… He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl… He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl… He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup…

Turning to her, he asked… Daughter, what do you see? Potatoes, eggs and coffee, she hastily replied…

Look closer, he said, and touch the potatoes… She did and noted that they were soft.

He then asked her to take an egg and break it… After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg…

Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee… Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face…

Father, what does this mean ? she asked…

He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coffee beans had each faced the same adversity the boiling water… However, each one reacted differently… The potato went in strong, hard and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak… The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water… Then the inside of the egg became hard… However, the ground coffee beans were unique… After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new…

Which one are you ? he asked his daughter… When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond ? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean ?

#Moral: In life, things happen around us, things happen to us, but the only thing that truly matters is how you choose to react to it and what you make out of it… Life is all about leaning, adopting and converting all the struggles that we experience into something positive…. _____

When she saw that the shopkeeper was busy with the other customers, she stole some toffees from a jar..

When she got back home, her mother asked her that where did she get the toffees.? Rosy told her mother the truth…

Her mother said, “It’s really very bad to steal.

The shopkeeper might not be looking at you but the God is always looking at you all the time.

So, one should never steal.”. Rosy understood the words of her mother and went back to the shop to return the toffees to the shopkeeper.

Life Of Success!

Success looks different for everyone. But what’s consistent is that successful people prioritize their values and principles.

If what you value is health, you should be incorporating an exercise routine and healthy meal into your AM schedule…

If what you value is family, you should be taking a few minutes to have breakfast with your kids before you leave….

If what you value is productivity, you should wake up and tackle the first tasks of the day before anything else….

Successful people design their lives in accordance with what they care about… _____

CONCENTRATED!

One day, some youths went to a jungle to practice shooting.

They kept few pots at a distance and targeted them. None of them could hit even a single pot.

A saint who was watching them started laughing. One of them went to him and asked, “Why are you laughing? Do you know how to shoot?” At this, the saint took the gun and fired at the pots and smashed all of them one by one.

The youths were amazed to see this and asked the saint if he was a magician.

The saint replied, I am neither a magician nor a sharpshooter…

I just concentrated and the result is in front of you.. One should always work with concentration.. The youths thanked him for the piece of advice….. _______

The Plant Tree

Two Travellers, walking in the noonday sun, sought the shade of a widespreading tree to rest.

As they lay looking up among the pleasant leaves, they saw that it was a Plane Tree.

“How useless is the Plane!“
said one of them.

“It bears no fruit whatever, and only serves to litter the ground with leaves.“
“Ungrateful creatures..!
said a voice from the Plane Tree….

“You lie here in my cooling shade, and yet you say I am useless..! Thus ungratefully do men receive their blessings!“

Our best blessings are often the least appreciated.”

Value: Smile🙂!

Smile

The value of a smile is priceless, yet it is the cheapest, easiest, most rewarding and most sincere gift to anyone that crosses your path.

A smile makes a person’s day, anybody’s day even a stranger’s day.

A smile is infectious. Start infecting people with your smile today.

A smile is nature’s best antidote for discouragement.

It brings rest to the weary, sunshine to those who are sad, and hope to those who are hopeless and defeated.

A smile is so valuable that it can’t be bought, begged, borrowed, or taken away against your will.

You have to be willing to give a smile away before it can do anyone else any good.

So if someone is too tired or grumpy to flash you a smile, let him have one of yours anyway.

Nobody needs a smile as much as the person who has none to give… _____

There was a King who had one Eye and one leg. He asked all the painters to draw a beautiful portrait of him. But none of them could because how could they paint him beautifully with the defects in one eye and one leg.

Real Cost!

A 6 yr old boy was in the market with his 4 yr sister.

Suddenly the boy found that his sister was lagging behind.

He stopped and looked back.

His sister was standing in front of a toy shop and was watching something with great interest.

The boy went back to her and asked,
‘Do you want something?’
The sister pointed at a doll.
The boy held her hand and
like a responsible elder brother,
gave that doll to her.
The sister was very very happy.

The shopkeeper watched this and was amused to see the mature behaviour of the boy.

Then the boy came to the counter and asked the shopkeeper,
‘What is the cost of this doll, Sir!’
The shopkeeper was a cool man
and had experienced the odds of life.

So he asked the boy with a lot of love and affection,
‘ Well, What can you pay?’
The boy took out all the shells
that he had collected from the sea shore,
from his pocket and gave them to the shopkeeper.

The shopkeeper took the shells
and started counting as if he were counting currency.

Then he looked at the boy.
The boy asked him worriedly,
‘Is it less?’
The shopkeeper said,
‘No,No..
These are more than the cost.

So I will return the remaining.’
Saying so,
he kept only 4 shells with him and returned the remaining.

The boy,
very happily kept those shells back in his pocket and left with his sister.

A servant in that shop was very surprised watching all these.

He asked his master,
‘Sir. .! You gave away such a costly doll just for 4 shells..?
The shopkeeper said with a smile,
‘Well, For us these are mere shells.

But for that boy,
these shells are very precious.

And at this age he does not understand what money is,
but when he will grow up,
he definitely will.

And when he would remember
that he purchased a doll with the Shells instead of Money,
he will remember Me and think that the world is full of Good people.

He will develop positive thinking…Thats it.
Think positive, be positive”…. ______
